Presets
A preset captures the entire panel state so you can switch between jobs with one click.
What a preset stores
Section titled “What a preset stores”- Connection: the data source type and its connected files, worksheets or views
- Render Settings and Output Module dropdown selections
- Footage Path and Output Path
- Start and End row
- All panel settings from the Settings page.
Using presets
Section titled “Using presets”The User Preset row holds the preset dropdown followed by three buttons, in order: save, edit, new.
- Create: click the + button, type a name, confirm. The current panel state is saved under that name and becomes the selected preset.
- Switch: pick a preset from the dropdown. The panel state is restored, including the data connection.
- Update: with a preset selected, click the save button to overwrite it with the current state.
- Rename / Delete: click the edit button. Rename from the name field; delete asks for a second confirming click before it acts.
The last selected preset is remembered and restored when the panel opens.
Storage
Section titled “Storage”All presets live in one file, Documents/BatchRender/UserPresets.json. It
survives extension updates; copy it to back up your presets or move them to
another machine. Sign-ins are not part of a preset: a preset restored on a
machine that is not signed in to Google or Airtable connects once you sign in
there.
